Hello hello!  I'm Joe Reault, a New York-based writer-director.
I create dark, awkward, or farcical comedy about people’s inability to cope with tragedy, anxiety, and pain. As a gay artist, I focus on telling stories that reflect both the beauties and difficulties of the queer experience and show queer people as unique and proud individuals.
Joe is one of the founding Artistic Directors of the theatre production company, Sitting Shotgun.
